Name: Dana Birthday: 11/21/1989 Gender: Female
Interests: I love music! Some of my favorite bands are; the Strokes, the Walkmen, Modest Mouse, the Killers, the Beatles, the Who, the Von Bondies, the Sex Pistols, the Hysterics (the newer New York one), Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand, the Hives, the Dandy Warhols,The Manic Street Preachers, the Pixies, the Zutons, the Stills, The Ordinary Boys*, Jet, and the Thrills. That's just some though. I like all kinds of music though! Let's see..... I don't love to read but I do like Harry Potter, Narnia, and the Cirque De Freak books, and I think Virginia Woolf was, and still is, a genius. I absolutely LOVE God! I am very active in Model UN and am looking forward to working as a peacekeeping officer in the United Nations. I'm more into politics than law. I really don't like law at all. ha, that rymes. I love to write and am slowly writing two novels. I like coffee, preferably Starbucks. I like to play TENNIS and SOCCER! Oh yeah! Expertise: International Relations, and Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE), and Peacekeeping (hands on). I will be an expert at tennis. A Wimbledon title sounds pretty darn good to me. haha

| Thanks everyone for sticking that little crisis out with me, haha. It's all good now. I've figured that I'm going to join the Peace Corps after getting my graduate in international relations. That should give me good enough job experience! Ahhh... I hate how I have to be so planned out. I mean, it's still really really early. But I think I'm ready. I'm ready to go to the next chapter of my life.
Miss ShS was sooo much fun! Congrats Connie on 3rd runner-up/ almost making out with George Hopkins! haha! I'm so proud of you! Thanks for everyone who came out to see me and I really appreciate all of your comments! It was fun and I'm glad you all enjoyed my 'sup' at the end, haha. Well, I'll see you all tomorrow!

| So I'm pretty sure that I'm freaking out!!!! I've been researching into careers in the United Nations High Comissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which is where I really want to work on location. But I'm like so scared now as I get more and more into it and as I get older and it all be comes more of a reality. First of all, it's not only because by working in the UNHCR I will pretty much be selling my life away to the refugees in third-world (excuse me for my language) countries, making them into my only family, but I'm freaking out about how to work my way up to such a position that I want. I already know that I want to attend NYU in international relations for my graduates school inoder to become an intern at the UN and at some point I want to study at the University of Ghana, but how am I supposed to get 2-6 years of "relevant" work for the UNHCR? What type of work is "relevant"? Working in a clothing store most ceratinly won't be. And speaking about work, how will I support myself in college? What type of job will I get? AHHHHH!!!! Someone save me!!!!!!!! Mrs. Cain I really need you right now and I think I need to make a personal appointment!!! Gosh, why can't I just have one of those easy buttons like on that commercial!?! Well..... I'm done venting for now... I really need to let loose now, have a few shots (haha) and relax....
